How the Certification Works
All participants begin with ATA Essentials — 5 detailed video modules designed to build a shared understanding of autism, communication differences, sensory needs, and inclusive strategies. After completing ATA Essentials, you’ll move into your Specialized Track with focused lessons aligned with your professional role. Autism Training Academy offers a tiered certification pathway designed to build both foundational understanding and role-specific expertise.
Start with 5 detailed video modules that introduce core concepts in autism support, including communication differences, sensory needs, executive function, and inclusive strategies for educational environments. ATA Essentials provides the shared foundation for every Specialized Track and ensures all participants begin with the same level of understanding before moving into role-specific training
After completing ATA Essentials, choose one of four tracks aligned to your role. Each includes targeted modules that address the real-world needs of your setting. Certificate Awarded: Certificate in Autism Support (CAS) with a Specialization in "Track Name" – Understanding Autism in Learning Environments
